Technical and Business Challenges of the Next Generation of Power Systems

This is the third conference organized by CIGRÉ's Canadian National Committee. This major event in power systems will provide an exceptional venue to CIGRÉ members and interested parties for presenting fundamental and technological developments and for promoting key suppliers of products and services for electrical power systems.

The conference will bring together power systems engineers, decision makers, economists, academics and others with interest in the profession. It is meant to showcase Canadian contributions, as well as to promote CIGRÉ as a strong technical organization, capable of contributing to the Canadian technical expertise and know-how through its study committees and the technical documents they produce as well as its conference proceedings.

The 2008 session hosted by Manitoba Hydro and supported by CIGRÉ will be held in Winnipeg from October 19 through 21, 2008.
